Please sign this petition to relocate the Winter Games 2014 from Sochi to Vancouver
It’s not very often I get political, but in this case I think we need the focus the attention of many on this important issue.
This petition has been started by ‘Equality for All’ and at the time of writing this blog post it has had over 74,000 signatures, it’s doing well but it needs more.
By signing this petition you will help bring equality for all to the world, is that such a bad thing? It’s 2013 after all, shouldn’t it be here already?
Thanks for reading this post, and if you signed the petition then your action is greatly appreciated.
In the time it took to write this post there have been over 5,000 signatures to the petition, why don’t you join them and help make the world a better place for everyone :)
Last week I decided that a year and a bit was long enough to leave all of my online passwords unchanged. So I had to get to grips with the mammoth job of changing everything!
Coming up with the “perfect” password was pretty tricky, and a simpleton like me doesn’t really know what makes up a good one so I turned to good old Google and found this little website.
I’m not going to go into the science or technicalities behind this password strength checker because, and quite frankly, I wouldn’t have a clue how it works. All I know is it is simple to use and understand.
It only took me a few minutes to come up with a password which was a decent length, mix and variation of characters, numbers, symbols, upper case and lower case letters, and I soon understood which direction I should go in order to come up with a strong password which was easy to remember and secure!
So click here to go to the site – http://www.passwordmeter.com/
Now like me, you can start what seems a never ending process of changing the security your entire online presence!
(I have nothing to do with this site, no connections at all. I’m not responsible if anything happens to you or your security from using this checker – I am simply recommending it as it’s worked for me!)
