Wondering about password strength? A quick recommendation!

Passwordmeter.com

Last week I decided that a year and a bit was long enough to leave all of my online passwords unchanged. So I had to get to grips with the mammoth job of changing everything!

Coming up with the “perfect” password was pretty tricky, and a simpleton like me doesn’t really know what makes up a good one so I turned to good old Google and found this little website.

I’m not going to go into the science or technicalities behind this password strength checker because, and quite frankly, I wouldn’t have a clue how it works. All I know is it is simple to use and understand.

It only took me a few minutes to come up with a password which was a decent length, mix and variation of characters, numbers, symbols, upper case and lower case letters, and I soon understood which direction I should go in order to come up with a strong password which was easy to remember and secure!

So click here to go to the site – http://www.passwordmeter.com/

Now like me, you can start what seems a never ending process of changing the security your entire online presence!

(I have nothing to do with this site, no connections at all. I’m not responsible if anything happens to you or your security from using this checker – I am simply recommending it as it’s worked for me!)

Fruit vodkas

Next week I’ll tell you how to make this delicious vodka in any fruit flavour!

A little light reading.

I bought these 2 books off Amazon the other day and I received them this morning. Both “Gin O’Clock” and “Mrs Stephen Fry” cost less than ยฃ8.00, with free delivery – didn’t think that was half bad.

The text looks relatively easy to read, so I should be done rather quick. I reckon the one by her majesty will be quite whitty!

A new change!

Good morning and happy Friday all.

This is my first post on my new blog. I hope you like!

I have been using tumblr up to now, however, all I seem to do there is reblog pictures! Which, don’t get me wrong, it’s nice but there really isn’t any point to it.

As the title suggests, markthinks.netย is focussed on anything and everything. It could be an long post or a short post – but I’m goinmg to have a damn good try at keeping it all relevant and not waste anyone’s time.

This blog is listed on my about.me page foundย here, so you can find more out about me there.
